Australian voters dont want live export. Every poll since May 2011 has found that. Likewise VALE commissioned an independent poll in 2015 that found nothing had changed. Arguments for live export "ring hollow" but neither main party will represent the Australian people on this issue.
Maybe this will be the election that ignoring the Australian people on this issue will come at a price....for pollies, not our animals.

Australia is a democracy , what it is not is mob rule by who ever is shouting the most angry .If that was the case we would be both for and against muslims or guns or pot .Your poll m just Tasmania then ? If you did a poll on the docks in Darwin you would get a very diff result .Try asking people who are not urban hipsters .

There appear to be a number of typos in this comment but we assume you are having a go at our nationwide, independent and professionally performed poll by UMR (http://umrstrategic.com/). An independent nationwide poll by a commercial organisation with no interest in live export doesnt focus on one state such as Tasmania or one location in Darwin Glenn. It was a large survey, with urban and rural participants (with minimal difference between their responses!) and thus should be appropriately representative.
