The tireless and persistent work of ex live-ex vet Lynn Simpson to expose onboard ship conditions as they really are (not how industry wants us to see them) was recognised at the recent Voiceless awards.
Few would have imagined that a live ex vet would ever be present in the same room as Voiceless, let alone having their efforts awarded. Congratulations to Dr Lynn Simpson and a big thank you to Voiceless for their recognition of one veterinarian's very significant and courageous contribution to animal welfare.

Hi Clare, Thanks for your kind words, they are very much appreciated. There are alot of people who care fortunately, its just many are verbally shackled for various reasons or uninformed and cant speak out with authority. But organisations such as VALE are fortunately allowing more of us to learn what the facts are. Thanks for your support both to me and VALE! Regards Lynn Simpson

Its had its day and the time for change is well and truly here. Thanks for your support of both myself and VALE. We need people with the courage of their convictions. Thank you for speaking out for the voiceless. We will change the world however long it takes. Live exports are incompatible with animal welfare. Keep fighting!

Dear Marian, You are 100% correct. The trade is incompatible with good animal welfare and I believe change is building and will continue to reduce suffering if we all keep speaking up and fighting. Every conversation you have to anyone where you can help illuminate the facts regarding live exports goes a way to help educate and hopefully improve the welfare conditions for the animals stuck in this unacceptable trade.
